Sparbach Nature Park
Hiking and observing wildlife
Sparbach was Austria’s first nature park. It is home for many animals (also wild boar freely roaming the park!). There is a welcome center, animals inside special compounds, an adventure playground and a lot more to discover. You can also have walks to the Johannstein ruin (45mins), the Diana temple (1.5hrs) and the Köhlerhaus ruin (1.5hrs).

Prices
Adults: € 5, Children (5 to 15yrs): € 3, concessions
Group tariff: from 25 persons on, € 4 for adults. Kids groups: for 10 children 1 adult goes free
There are combined tickets for Sparbach and Liechtenstein castle!
Prices incl. guided tour: € 7 for pupils
How to get there
By foot you will get to the nature park in about 50 minutes.
By car it’s about 8 minutes.
By public bus: walk down the road from BZW to the fire brigade’s house at Weissenbach, take line 364, direction Mödling, get off at “Gruberau” stop (find a timetable in the welcome booklet at our office).

Our verdict
An interesting, close-to-nature day out, we recommend it especially for younger kids. The hikes are also ok for older children and youths.
